Each class begins with an interactive morning ring. The children are encouraged to discuss weekend news, things from nature, the weather, they are taught about the value of greeting one another and manners.
We have an extensive range of age appropriate puzzles for each class. The children engage in classroom puzzles once a week, they are taught how to systematically and effectively complete puzzles. We also offer a separate Puzzle Library. The children can take home a puzzle once a week, where they are able to enjoy and build puzzles, with family members at home.
Reading and the exposure to books, is one of the greatest gifts you can offer your child. Our classrooms are filled with beautifully illustrated books and stories for the teachers to read and children to page through and “read”.
Our Jungle Library is a “quiet peace of Heaven at Hakuna”, where the children go down with their teacher once a week. The children select a book of their choice, to take home for the week to enjoy with a family member. During library time the children are taught about books and library etiquette.

Friday is Baker Baker day and is a wonderful way to end off a busy week. This is another crucial part of a child’s development and learning experience that offers many life skills that are needed for expanding little minds. In the Red and Blue Group class, the children engage in “hands on” baking, where they have the opportunity to mix, stir, measure, taste and so much more.
The Grade 000 to Grade R children will have Baker Baker. Each child will have an opportunity to bring any baked or bought goodie from home, to share and enjoy with their friends. The other children in the class sing to the Baker and pay R2.00 for their baked goodie, teaching them money and buying skills, along with sharing and manners.
Our Babies are welcomed into this nurturing and loving “home away from away” first play school experience. We give special attention to your precious baby focusing on areas that allow them to grow.
